yay i just did a DB mission, i got daedric bow, and full daedric (w/o helm and shield), and some other awesome weapons and stuff...i also got a new horse which is nice cuz mine died

back to the game.. god i love this more than Guild Wars. So many quests and places to explore. But something is weird whenever i played this game, it always seen to lag and i would hear my HDD working hard to load up the textures and data for the game. Should i turn down the graphic a bit?

Skull thats what I did. I just turned down the grass and put the texture to medium and it runs better.

WTF... I install the game, and click new, it runs the opening movie, then crashes back to the desktop. I cant get past the movie. If I hit the space bar to skip it, I crash again. I try to go to video options, once I set them lower, and hit return to menu, it crashes also. What the hell is this?

Your Ram is low. You need at least a gigabite. I would suspect your Hard Drive is "swaping files" in place of physical Ram. Other words a Swap file (Page file). You might need to adjust that too. Rule of thumb...1.5 times you actual Ram installed.

Still adding Ram will help you allot. Your video card is just fine. Your CPU should be just enough.

Err...Yes...I am back from vacation!

EDIT: With my rig: 3.4Ghz 650 chipset HT, 4Gb Ram, X800XL PCIe Vid Card. I still can't move the sliders all the way. I am set at the highest quality...but the little tweaks I can't do. This is how demanding this game really is.

Heh, I just made 40k off the corpse of Dorian. The glitch goes that after you kill him, take all of his stuff individually (NOT the X key (take all)) until there's only his gold left. Then just keep taking his gold... it will never run out and you'll keep getting more and more rich.

Careful, though, it is EXTREMELY time consuming to amass a huge amount of it.

If you bribe him with alot of gold before hand, you can make significantly more money. Or you can just dupe stuff, and sell it.

well i got my computer taken away for a week cuz my chemistry teacher called and lied by telling my parents i haven't done any homework in like 4 weeks even though i have...o well no oblivion, counterstrike, or guild wars for a week i guess....*sigh*

i have a little tip for you guys never put on the gray fox cowl in the prisons and forget to take it off you'll be sorry when you end up fighting 20 or so gaurds
